AviaDev Africa Outreach. Luhlaza high School, Cape Town

AviaDev believes passionately in leaving a legacy and making an impact in the destination it takes place and each year, we organise an outreach event in a local school.

Working with the Girls Fly Programme for Africa, Aviators Africa Academy, NACO, Rolls-Royce and iFly, we ran a session for 100 STEM students at a high school in an underprivileged area of Cape Town.

After the interactive talks, we ran a paper aeroplane competition and presented the winners with their very own model aircraft, before enjoying a networking lunch kindly sponsored by the Bench Charitable Committee.
